The Rotary Club Of
Thondamuthur was sponsored by Rotary Club Of Coimbatore North during 1986 with 20 charter members under the auspicious
and dynamic leadership of its Founder and Charter President, Rtn.PHF.M.NATRAJ
Our club operates at Thondamuthur, a rural area -
12 kms away( 20 minutes drive) from Coimbatore city, surrounded by natural beauty of hills,pastures,rivulets,and forests
where nature gives her best. The taste of water that naturally flows from the SIRUVANI DAM is considered to be one among the
tastiest waters in the world.
The main occupation carried out here is Agriculture
which most of our Rotarians are pioneers. Thondamuthur is mainly known as " SOUTH INDIAs FINEST AGRARIAN LANDS" tilled
for its Black soil, which produces yield of tasty GRAPES which is being sent all over South India. All our Rotarians are into
manufacturing Bricks & own extensive Farms growing Sugarcane,Banana,turmeric, Vegetables,Coconut & Arecanut
Groves,and Onion.
Our club also concentrates mainly on agricultural
Orientation programmes, Animal husbandry,Micro credit etc,besides carrying out Community Service, Club service, Vocational
service, International Service,District Projects,and services to the upcoming New Generation.
Recognising the potential of the budding youth and
their importance ,our Rotary Club has sponsored 5 Rotaract Clubs and 1 Interact club since 1994 to promote youth as partners
in service .They are :

All our members of the New Generation join us to carry
out effective projects to develop their leadership skills and exhibit best of their potential in every project they undertake
with our expertise and leading. They have won Laurels and credit to our Rotary and have been recognised as successful upcoming
Rotarians in the mere future.
Our Rotaractors have also served in various capacities
in the District Cabinet for over 10 years mainly to note that they were all SONS OF ROTARIANS ( Rotary Annets) which is the
vision of Rotary International to strengthen the Family Of Rotary. Our Rotary Club has successfully produced one DISTRICT
ROTARACT REPRESENTATIVE DURING THE YEAR 2003-2004, Rtn.Rfsm.TTS BASKARAN who was the 32ND DRR OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL
DISTRICT 3200, having motivated his district clubs to carry out 1777 projects in 2004 whereby he was awarded the most PRESTIGIOUS
-" ROTARY INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENTIAL CITATION FOR BEST ACTIVITIES AS DRR "from the the then RI President Jonathan Majiyagbe.
We also conduct various camps,career guidance,and
counselling programmes to higher secondary school students of our locality every year.Our Rotarians attend District Conferences,Assemblies
and various meets held in our District. We join for a Family get together meet at the last week of every month. Ever since
from 1986 till now as on date our Club Past Presidents and Secretaries have won various laurels at different capacities and
have added glory and name to Rotary Thondamuthur, Having known for our kind hospitality and ever green service to the society
we are on the verge of introducing Rotary to new members and increasing membership year after year. Our members have enjoyed
Rotary and its amazing impact on the society
This year our club is heading towards excellence
under the leadership of Rtn.T.N.S Venkataraj as PRESIDENT
and Rtn.TTS Baskaran as the SECRETARY
